As with all handmade things, you are paying for the artistry more so than the product. Unlike mass-produced items, all the details of each cookie are done by my hands. The same amount of time is needed for each cookie, and I take loving pride to design, cut, bake, and frost all of my designs.
The prices below are guidelines. As a rule of thumb, the base cookie price starts at about $1.00 per inch of cookie size, measured by the longest dimension, and rounded down to the nearest inch. Then the cost for the amount of detail is added to the base cookie price. Your cost per cookie may be different than what you see in the table due to your design choices. I will work with you to help you realize your vision within your budget.
Basic: 1-2 colors and consistencies of icing, minimal piping/details, 1-2 piping technique, no hand-cutting of shapes.
Detailed: 2-4 icing colors and consistencies, simple piping/details, 1-2 piping techniques, may or may not have hand-cut shapes.
Elaborate: 4 or more colors and consistencies of icing, complex piping/details, multiple techniques, may or may not be hand-cut shapes.
Note: most cookie designs may be personalized for an additional $0.25 per cookie.
Note:
- All cookies are ~ 5/16” (8 mm) thick.
- Dough flavors available: vanilla, chocolate, pumpkin spice.
- My standard icing flavor is vanilla, but I can make nearly any flavor you would like (e.g., lemon, peppermint, cream cheese, butter maple, etc.)
- There is no price difference between cookie dough or icing flavors.
- Dough and icing are made for your order. I do not make any ahead of time in anticipation of orders.
